Urban Bakery exists to answer one question: why should a birthday cake taste less interesting than dessert? At 1065 W. Golf Rd. we bake rasmalai cream cakes, motichoor laddoo cakes and gulab jamun cheesecake cups alongside proper Belgian chocolate and fresh fruit cream cakes — most available eggless, because half the Northwest Suburbs' birthdays need it.
Everything is baked under the same VeerGi roof as our restaurant and mithai counter, so the rasmalai in the rasmalai cake is our own. From October 2026 you'll be able to walk in for pastries and cheesecake cups or order celebration cakes for Hoffman Estates pickup — until then, order from our Chicago bakery at 2660 N. Halsted St.
